All specimen requests must be received by LifeLegacy Foundation in writing by noon (MST) the business day prior to shipment. To ensure inventory availability of requested tissues, we recommend at least a two week notice of tissue specimen needs.
All specimen requests received after noon (MST) the business day prior to shipment will be shipped the following shipping day, or will be charged a rush handling fee. These fees are not inclusive of the actual shipping charges.
We do not provide shipments same day as specimen request.
Fresh tissue specimens can be shipped only when prior special arrangements have been made. All tissue specimens for domestic US are scheduled to arrive at its destination next day, within 24 hours of shipment.
LifeLegacy Foundation does ship internationally. Due to shipping time and potential customs delays involved when shipping outside the U.S., we recommend tissue be frozen when shipped.
All specimen requests canceled within 24 hours prior to shipping will be charged a restocking fee plus packaging costs. For standard tissue specimen requests, the restocking fee is 25% of the standard acquisition service fee; and for custom tissue specimen requests, the restocking fee is 50% of the standard acquisition service fee.
